The eTeleNext Accessioning Application is designed for clients looking for an on-line pathology-based accessioning system that can easily accommodate expansion into the general clinical lab. The overall workflow of the Accessioning Interface is intuitive. The interface has customizable patient data entry, customizable panels for test ordering, multiple specimens per patient entry options, and a final verification summary of patients entered and tests ordered. These are available for printing. The result’s module allows clients to view new test results or retrieve historical data. All administrative functionality is built into the application and is accessible with the proper user permissions.

eTeleNext Accessioning Key Elements:

• Worklist: Pathologists will have access to all cases that are assigned to them to verify status. Cases are sorted by date and category (Accessioned, Pending, and Reported). For each category the Accession Number, the Create Date, the Client Name, Patient Name, and other data will be shown.
• Set-up Menus: Allows users to create customize reports through a variety of templates. Users can select different page elements (Header, Patient Info, Tech Results, Images, Footer, Professional Results, Signature Line), and load their own logo.
• Admin: Provides access to User Setup, Client Setup, Report Setup, Audit Trail. (Available to those with Admin Rights).
• Remote Pathology: Provides remote pathologists the ability to interact with their lab data with features such as downloading raw data files, images, re-gating histograms, requesting test-add-ons, requesting a second opinion or professional consultation, and customizing the report.
• Lab Connectivity: AP Anywhere allows any lab to be linked to their clients for the easy transfer of data and collaboration on cases.
• Professional Consultation Request: Lab clients can benefit from the ability to request a professional consultation from Lab Pathologists on their technical cases as defined by the Lab. The Lab will benefit from the additional revenue offered by this service.
• Test Add-ons: Lab clients can benefit from the ability to request additional tests from the Lab. The Lab will benefit from the additional revenue offered by this service.
• Results: Lab clients can retrieve their results from the portal by downloading the associated PDF files. This service is included free of charge. The Lab may also choose to distribute results via an automated fax service provided by eTeleNext. The fax service will be provided at a small additional charge. Lab clients may also desire to receive results via a direct HL7 interface to capture the electronic data directly into their local LIS or Local AP Anywhere. Additional interfacing can also be provided by eTeleNext.
• Customized Reporting: Labs can have customized reports created from templates that can be distributed via the internet or other means. The application captures all data and images collected on the tests to more efficiently produce reports. The standard eTeleNext report templates will be provided to the clients at no additional charge. These tem plates will include the logo, color scheme, and demographic information of the client.
• Billing: Labs can match reports that have been resulted with the appropriate CPT codes for easy client billing.
